Andrew’s career has involved working for highly established and reputable companies in the United Kingdom, Canada and Australia, which has enabled him to achieve a practical insight into both short and long form productions and processes, across the international market.

MAJOR ACHIEVEMENTS

Successfully trained and supervised team members at several companies including Framestore, Ascent Media and Deluxe Digital Studios.

Investigated and implemented a new tapeless workflow for all productions at Prime Focus. This resulted in a quicker turnaround, because of greater understanding of importing footage and improved efficiency, due to a reduction in corrupt files and standardisation of all documentation and processes.

Identified and encouraged greater interaction and communication between the 3D tracking department, animation and production teams at Framestore. Recommended detailed production notes and greater feedback from production staff, which led to a significant improvement in team morale and productivity.

Awarded extra responsibility at Deluxe Digital to analyze the latest film releases for the AV department and for editing local television programming at Fox International Channels.

Demonstrated a high level of customer service skills across numerous sectors, including managing staff and client enquiries and providing technical support across 30 edit suites and 15 productions at Prime Focus.

Prepared and reviewed hundreds of VFX shots on a daily basis across several projects at Prime Focus World and BlueBolt and consistently met trailer and feature deadlines for RealD 3D and IMAX 3D deliveries.
A highly skilled, enthusiastic and ambitious VFX Editor, DI Editor and Assistant Editor, Andrew has the drive to succeed in every project he is involved in and has a keen interest in pursuing a career in short form or long form productions.
He is passionate about a variety of television and film genres, with his career encompassing a broad spectrum of programming including feature film, factual, reality, documentary, light entertainment, comedy, drama, sport, lifestyle, music promo, advertising and animation.
Over the last few years he has worked for companies such as Framestore, BBC Studios, Company 3, The Farm Group, One of Us, BlueBolt and Prime Focus World and his recent credits include His Dark Materials, Dinosaurs - The Final Day with David Attenborough, Entebbe, Beauty And The Beast, Fantastic Beasts And Where To Find Them, Peaky Blinders, Jamestown.

Andrew was selected for the BFI NETWORK x BAFTA Crew 2021.
In October 2022 he was offered BAFTA Connect Membership for the next three years.
